SUBJECT
Noise from the Active Head Restraint Connecting Cable

SITUATION
Noise from the area of the head restraint or seat backrest when the vehicle is in motion or when adjusting the head restraint

CAUSE
Active Head Restraint connecting cable causes noises.

PROCEDURE
Do not replace parts.

Remove the rear panel on the front seat backrest as per ISTA Repair Instructions 5217205 "Remove and refit/replace both rear panels on the left or right front seat backrest". Wrap the connecting cable for the
Active Head Restraint with felt (see attachment).
