Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

13 71 030 Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Intake Silencer Housings (N63 Hybrid)







WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life.







WARNING:
The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work:
- De-energize the high-voltage system
- Observe safety instructions for handling with hybrid vehicles







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Turn off ignition
- Remove power electronics box bracket.
- Remove tension struts on left and right
- Remove heat shield
- Remove intake manifold







NOTE: Description relates to the left intake filter housing. Procedure for the right side is identical.

Release clamps (1).
Disconnect plug (2) on air-mass sensor.
Release clip (3).
Remove intake filter housing by pulling upwards.







Reassemble the vehicle.
