Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

13 71 000 Removing And Installing/replacing Intake Filter Housing (S63)







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Turn off ignition
- Remove acoustic cover







Detach cover (1) at top of intake silencer housing from retainers (2).

Remove cover (1) towards rear.







NOTE: Description relates to the left intake filter housing. Procedure for the right side is identical.

Unlock plug (1) on air-mass sensor and disconnect.

Release clamp (2)

Tightening torque 13 71 12AZ.







Detach intake silencer housing (1) from rubber mounts in upward direction.

Remove intake silencer housing (1) towards front.







Assemble engine.
