Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

13 62 560 Removing and installing/air-mass flow sensor (M57T2)







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out fault memory of DDE control unit; if necessary, work through test schedules
- Switch off ignition
- Remove acoustic cover







Release bolts (1).
Unclip line (2).
Detach intake pipe (3) in direction of arrow.







Unlock plug connection (2) on air-mass flow sensor and disconnect.
Release bolts (1).
Remove air-mass sensor.
Tightening torque 13 62 7AZ.







Now clear the fault memory.

Reset adaptations, quantity mean value adaptation
