D-pillar panelling
Repair instruction for D-pillar panelling

Cause
Telescopic tube (1) does not make contact with the convenience opener (2).

Repair instruction
Loosen D-pillar panelling
1. Undo the screws (1) in the slide rail of the roller cover to loosen the D-pillar panelling
2. Tighten the screws (1) again
3. Hook up the telescopic tube of the combine roller in the D-pillar panelling and check whether the telescopic tube makes contact with the convenience opener
4. By opening the rear window, check whether the roller cover moves upwards without obstruction

If the convenience opener continues to malfunction, proceed as follows.
1. Remove the D-pillar panelling on one side
2. Mark the mounting of the D-pillar panelling all around with a suitable pen (arrows)






Undo the two lower screws of the mounting (2)






(2) Screws of the mounting
Shift the mounting by 1 mm (arrow)






Tighten the screws of the mounting (2) again

Note
Do not grease the roller cover!
The roller cover does not have to be replaced!
