66 54 005 Removing And Installing/replacing Control Unit For Night Vision System







IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection).







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Clamp off battery negative lead
- Remove fold-down compartment on driver's side







Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Release bolt (2) and remove control unit (3) in direction of arrow.







Installation:
Make sure guides (1) of control unit (2) are correctly seated.







Replacement:
Carry out vehicle programming/encoding.

NOTE:
New component contains a CD with deblocking code.
CD is requested during encoding/programming by the SSS.
