51 16 172 Removing And Installing/Replacing Centre Armrest Storage Compartment







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear centre console trim
- Remove centre console trim







Release screw (4).

Feed out storage compartment (2), unlocking retaining hooks (3) by pressing the open button if necessary.







Release plug connections on inside of centre console (1) and disconnect.

Installation:
Make sure cables are correctly routed.







Disconnect plug connections underneath storage compartment (1) and disconnect.

Installation:
Make sure cables are correctly routed.

Remove storage compartment (1).







Replacement:
- Remove LED for centre armrest storage compartment
- Remove USB/audio interface connecting socket
- Remove eject box
