52 14 010 Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Seat Rails On Left Or Right Front Seat







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remover driver's or passenger seat
- Remove lower strap (belt tensioner)
- Remove trims for top rail







Unlock and disconnect plug connection (1) on drive for longitudinal seat adjustment.







Release left and right screws (1).
Tightening torque 52 10 06AZ.
Release nuts (2) on left and right on carrier plate.
Remove seat rails with motor carrier plate.







Replacement only:
Release screws (1).







Detach left or right seat rail from flex-shaft.
Detach motor retaining plate with drive and flex-shaft from opposite seat rail.







Installation:
PTFE hoses are shrink-fitted onto end pieces.
Check that hoses are free from damage.
