Situation:
On above mentioned vehicles The discontinuation of the gearbox emergency release in the passenger compartment will be phased in in the series. From then on, it will only be possible to operate the mechanical emergency release on the gearbox from below.

Effect:
Depending on the type of vehicle, it may be necessary to remove underbody panelling in order to operate the mechanical emergency release on the gearbox.

- F01 F02 / F03 GA6HP as from production date 03/2010
- F01 F02 F03 / F04 GA8HP as from production date 09/2010
- F07 / GA8HP as from production date 03/2010
