41 61 060 Removing And Installing/Replacing Hinge For Engine Compartment Lid







For stripping and rigging operations, refer to texts on KSD CD (job number 41 61 060).

IMPORTANT: Observe separate procedure for vehicles with active pedestrian protection.







Necessary preliminary work:
Remove gas pressure spring







Release screws (1) and remove hinge.

Installation note:
Tightening torque 41 61 3AZ.
Adjust hinge together with engine compartment lid.
