51 71 ... Removing And Installing/Replacing Sound Insulation For Bulkhead Upper Section







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove cover for windscreen cowl panel.







Remove rubber seal (1).
Release screws (3).
Tightening torque 51 71 3AZ. Unfasten screws (2).

NOTE: Screws (2) are partly behind side sound insulation.

Remove side sound insulation.
Release screws (4).
Tightening torque 51 71 3AZ.

NOTE:
- Screws (4) are behind central sound insulation.
- (Refer to the following operation.)
- Remove middle sound insulation.







NOTE: Arrows mark bolting points of middle sound insulation.







Installation note:
Make sure line feed-through (1) is correctly seated.
