SITUATION
The vehicle does not start. CAS (Car Access System) fault "93070D Internal Hardware Fault" is stored.
CAUSE
CAS hardware failure
PROCEDURE
1. If the vehicle does not start, perform a vehicle test using ISTA (Integrated Service Technical Application).
Note:
When the ISTA system message displays:
Battery voltage only "XX.XX" V. Please connect charger.
Please note the displayed battery voltage reading in the repair order comments section.
2. If the CAS module has fault "93070D Internal Hardware Fault" stored, replace the CAS module.
Note:
There is no test plan and corresponding Diagcode for this hardware fault.
3. Program the vehicle using the latest version of ISTA/P.
Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
