61 35 015 Removing And Installing (replacing) Control Unit For Car Access System







IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).







Necessary preliminary work:
- Disconnect battery ground lead
- Remove both battery cables at F03
- Remove trim panel for pedal mechanism







Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screw (2).
Tightening torque 61 35 1 AZ.
Remove control unit for Car Access System (3) in direction of arrow.







Installation note:
Feed guide (1) of control unit for Car Access System (2) correctly into associated mounting.







Replacement:
Carry out programming/encoding

For vehicles with rear-seat entertainment (RSE):
Teach in RSE master key via path:
- Body
- Rear seat entertainment system
- Teach in radio remote control
- Radio remote control
