Warning!
Danger of poisoning 00 .. ... Danger of Poisoning If Oil Is Ingested/Absorbed Through the Skin if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
Risk of injury 00 .. ... Risk of Injury If Oil Comes Into Contact With Eyes and Skin if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!
Important!
Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.
Do not draw off hydraulic fluid (risk of contamination).
Seal off line connections with plugs 32 1 270 .
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of hydraulic fluid in a suitable container.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove right front wheel 36 10 300 Remove or Install Front or Rear Wheel
- Remove right wheel arch cover
- Remove underbody protective plate Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Underbody Protection
- Remove right steering assembly cover 51 75 010 Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Steering Assembly Cover
- Release front right underbody panelling 51 71 015 Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Underbody Panels
Important!
Pressure line and connection on valve block must be fitted with suitable sealing plugs 32 1 270 immediately after removal!
Untighten screw connections (1) and (2).
Tightening torque 37 13 5AZ 37 13 Hydraulic Lines.
Unlock holder (1).
Feed both pressure lines out of spacer.
Installation Note:
Check installation location.
Make sure pressure lines are laid without tension.
Unfasten screw fitting (1).
Remove pipe.
Tightening torque 37 13 5AZ 37 13 Hydraulic Lines.
Important!
When assembling, make sure that in succession only the sealing plugs of the line to be fitted are removed.
After installation:
- Fill and bleed hydraulic system 32 13 006 Bleeding Power Steering (Version With Dynamic Drive)
- Check line connections for leaks
- Carry out initial Dynamic Drive operation 37 10 001 Initial Operation With Test Run of Dynamic Drive.
