Fault text
DME, internal fault, interior-temperature sensor, electric:
short circuit to positive or open circuit

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the upper voltage limit of
the DME's temperature sensor.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the voltage of the temperature
sensor in the DME > 3.3 V.
Potential problem source(s):
- DME defective
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- Electrical system voltage > 10 V
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- 10 sec. after engine on
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
The fault is logged in the fault memory if it remains
continuously present for longer than 5 sec.

Action in service
- If the diagnostic fault code has been logged multiple times,
replace the DME
