Throttle valve 2, throttle-valve potentiometer, plausibility:
synchronism fault between potentiometers 1 and 2

Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the voltages of both
throttle-valve 2 sensors.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the voltages of the two sensors
display a difference of > 7� opening angle at throttle valve 2.
Potential problem source(s):
- Defect in wiring harness between DME and throttle valve
2
- Throttle valve 2 defective
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:

Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
The diagnostic fault code is logged when the fault persists
for longer than 300 ms.

Action in service
- Check wiring harness between DME and throttle valve 2
- Replace throttle valve 2
