Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors BSD communications
between the IBS and DME.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when interference is present in the
expended BSD communications.
Potential problem source(s):
- Other defective components on BSD
- Defective BSD
- IBS defective
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- None
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory if
it remains present for longer than 25 sec.

Action in service
- Check BSD
- Unplug other devices from the BSD to determine whether
one of these is the problem source
- Replace IBS
