The diagnostic function monitors whether the correct IBS is
installed.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when an incorrect IBS is detected.
Potential problem source(s):
- Installed IBS is incompatible or too old
Terminal condition: none
Voltage condition:
- None
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory if
it remains present for longer than 20 sec.

Action in service
- If the diagnostic fault code has been entered with a
frequency > 3 or is present continuously then replace the
IBS
