Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the wake-up wire.

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the signal level in the wake-up
wire is implausible.
Potential problem source(s):
- Wake-up line defective
- IBS defective
Terminal condition: none
Voltage condition:
- None
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- none

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory if
it remains present for longer than 20 sec.

Action in service
- Check wake-up wire for consistent and intermittent open
circuits
- IBS disconnected, Terminal 15 off, wake-up wire shorted
to positive: Check wake-up wire and other components
connected to the wake-up wire
- IBS disconnected, Terminal 15 off, wake-up wire shorted
to ground: Check wake-up wire
- IBS connected, Terminal 15 off, wake-up wire shorted to
positive: Replace IBS IBS connected, Terminal 15 on,
wake-up wire shorted to ground: Replace IBS
