Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the checksums for the EWS
data contents contain errors.

- Fault in checksum for EWS data content
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:

Other conditions:

Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory if
it remains present for longer than 1 sec.

Action in service
- Replace DME, if fault occurs repeatedly
