implausible
Fault description
The diagnostic function watches for excessively fast rises in
barometric pressure.
Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when the barometric pressure spikes
upward by 50 hPa.
Potential problem source(s):
- DME defective.
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
- Electrical system voltage > 10 V
Temperature condition:
- None
Time condition:
- None
Other conditions:
- none
Condition for fault memory entry
This fault is logged in the control module's fault memory
immediately.
Action in service
- If the fault persists continuously or multiple diagnostic
fault codes for it are logged then replace the DME
