SITUATION
The following issues may occur:
^ The anti-theft alarm cannot be activated (anti-theft alarm does not flash in acknowledgement).
^ Central locking cannot be activated either by remote control or manually with the key.
^ The interior lighting does not switch off until the vehicle enters sleep mode.
^ The interior lighting does not switch on when the rear doors are opened.
Fault codes 800ED3 (Door contact FAT_H - cable break short-circuit to battery terminal) and 800ED7 (Door contact BFT_H - cable break short-circuit to battery terminal) are stored in the FRM3 (Footwell module).
Depending on the vehicle equipment level, fault codes 800EBF and 800EC4 may also be stored.
CAUSE
FRM3 software error
CORRECTION
Program the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.39.3 or later.
Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
