Fault description
The diagnostic function monitors the number of teeth on the
reluctor ring.
Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The fault is recognized when more or less than 58 teeth are
detected.
Potential problem source(s):
- Electromagnetic interference
- Defective wiring harness
- Crankshaft sensor defective
- Increment wheel defective
