Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel 51 47 101 Removing and Installing/Replacing Luggage Compartment Floor Trim Panel.





Note:
Use BMW-recommended battery tester* to test the battery.

Procedure:
- Turn off ignition and close doors

- Connect battery tester directly to battery terminals

- Select Battery test and confirm

- Enter vehicle identification number

- Enter battery data

- Carry out battery test
