52 25 010 - Removing and installing left or right rear seat





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Set seat angle to uppermost position (+Z)
- Set longitudinal seat adjuster to maximum forward position (-X)





Important!
Do not actuate the seat adjuster while the rear seat is removed.





Unclip left or right seat in upward direction from catch.
Disconnect all plug connections (seat heating, air conditioning).

Installation:
Feed in belt buckle through designated opening.
Adjust cross-tube of seat pan manually to catch in seat frame.





Lever out shackle (1) on left and right in direction of arrow from seat frame.
Remove seat.





Installation:
Make sure shackle (1) is correctly seated in locator (2).





Replacement only:
- Removing seat cover with padding Cover For Left Or Right Rear Seat.
- Remove A/C insulating box A/C Insulating Box
