Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1
Sensor B)

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Not possible to synchronize signal levels from both exhaust
camshafts with crankshaft tooth 0 during the first 100 engine
rotations.
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
per rotation

Action in service
1. Check plug and wiring harness to crankshaft sensor
KWG, as well as to camshaft sensors NWG B1 and B2.
2. Check voltage in onboard electrical system
2. Replace camshaft sensor
3. Update DME
4. Replace DME
