52 26 020 Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Backrests

Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove backrest side section
- Remove rear seat

Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 72 11 21AZ.

Installation note:
End fitting is coded against incorrect installation.
Replace screw (1).

Lever out pin and remove expanding rivet (1) on left and right.
Release left and right screws (2).
Tightening torque 52 26 01AZ.

1. Tilt backrest slightly forwards.
2. Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of centre mount

Installation note:
Make sure plastic bush (1) is fitted correctly.
Lock plastic bush (1) with lug in centre mount.
