SUBJECT
Front Door Mirrors Vibrate Creating a Visual Distortion
MODEL

SITUATION
The outside door mirrors vibrate while driving, and can be perceived as loose. This happens more often when the automatic folding function is used infrequently.
CAUSE
Footwell Module (FRM) software error
[NEW] PROCEDURE
Do not replace parts.
1. Perform a vehicle test with ISTA (Integrated Service Technical Application) and troubleshoot any faults related to the door mirrors or door mirror switches.
2. If no faults are stored, program the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.46.0 or later.
Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.

Note:
When the ISTA system message displays: Battery voltage only "XX.XX" V. Please connect charger. Please note the displayed battery voltage reading in the repair order comments section.
