SITUATION

A creaking noise may be heard coming from the front driver's or passenger's seat frame when the vehicle is in motion, especially when the seat frame is subject to shifting forces created by the occupant.

CAUSE

The rear cross member of the seat frame is rubbing against the seat height lever arm (HA lever).

CORRECTION

Modify the rear seat cross member to increase the clearance of the HA lever.
