51 16 000 - Removing and installing/replacing mirror on left or right front door (Security)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove door trim panel Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Left or Right Door Trim Panel





Pull off speaker (1) towards front and disconnect.





Release screws (1) on speaker holder (2) and remove.
Tightening torque 51 16 1AZ [1][2][3]51 16 Mirrors, Finishers, Ashtrays, Consoles.





Disconnect plug-in connections (1) and (2).
Release screw (3) behind rubber cover.
Feed out mirror with cable and remove.





Installation:
Following parts of mirror must not be damaged or missing:
- Fabric adhesive tape on protective cover
- Seal on mirror base plate
- Sound insulation in front door
Carry out function check of mirror and intercom system.
