13 62 533 - Replacing primary catalytic converter temperature sensor (M57T2)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out fault memory of DDE control unit; if necessary, work through test schedules
- Switch off ignition
- E83 only: If necessary, remove windshield washer fluid reservoir
- E83 only: Remove rear underbody protection





Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform this task on an engine that has cooled down.





Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Unclip cable.





Release temperature sensor (1).

Installation:
Tightening torque 13 62 1AZ Specifications.





Installation:
Now clear the fault memory.
