13 62 624 Replace The Temperature Sensor For The SCR Catalytic Converter (M57T2 With SCR)







IMPORTANT:
Ensure adequate ventilation in the workbay.
Avoid skin contact (wear gloves).
Avoid eye contact (safety goggles).
Urea/water mixture can escape when components carrying urea/water mixture are released. Have a collecting vessel ready.
Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove underbody protection

IMPORTANT:
Risk of burning.
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.







Disconnect connector connection (1).







Unclip temperature sensor wiring (1).
Release temperature sensor (2).

Installation note:
Tightening torque 18 31 3AZ.
