Proper Repairs to Rubber Bushings in Front Tension Struts

E70, E71, E72

SITUATION

The rubber mount in one of the front tension struts needs to be replaced.

PROCEDURE

It is no longer required to replace these bushings in pairs (left and right) if only one bushing needs to be replaced. Repair Instruction RA 31 12 138 will be updated with this new procedure in ISTA/D 2.23. The warranty flat rate units will be adjusted in the next KSD2 version.
