51 31 023 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Left Or Right Gutter Strip Along Windscreen







Special tools required:
- 00 9 340







IMPORTANT:
- The gutter strip has an indentation in the middle and has a tendency to kink in this area during dismantling.
- All gutter strip clamps must be released singly (starting at the bottom).

Pull off gutter strip (1) at bottom approx. 5 mm from clamp (2).
Raise sealing lip of gutter strip (1) with special tool 00 9 340 and carefully press tabs (3) of clamps (4) in direction of arrow with screwdriver.
Pull gutter strip (1) a little upwards until it feed out from clamp (4).

IMPORTANT:
- Replace clamps (4) after each dismantling.
Pay attention to installation location in event of different-coloured clamps (4).
- Locks of clamps (4) must not be damaged.
