11 12 719 Resurfacing cylinder head lower face (N55)





Necessary preliminary work:
^ Remove cylinder head
^ Remove exhaust camshaft.
^ Remove intermediate lever on intake side





Check evenness of cylinder head sealing faces with a standard straightedge (1).

Note:
Maximum deviation from flatness longitudinal 0.10 millimeters.





Check evenness of cylinder head sealing faces with a standard straightedge (1).

Note:
Max. deviation from flatness transverse 0.05 millimeters.





Check cylinder head for watertightness.

Assemble engine.
