51 46 072 - Removing and installing/replacing lower partition panel





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove both side trim panels 51 43 125 Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Bottom Left or Right Side Trim Panel
- Remove centre console 51 16 165 Removing and Installing Complete Centre Console.
- Clamp off battery lead from negative terminal 61 20 900 Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead
- Remove rear top side trim panel 51 43 120 Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Left or Right Side Trim Panel
- Remove seat belt cover 51 46 ... Removing and Installing/Replacing Cover For Seat Belt On Left Or Right





Note:
Both seats are shown removed for purposes of clarity.





Remove net suspension plugs (1).
Unclip net fastening (2).
Lever out clips (3).
Remove stowage net (4).





The right side is removed in the same way as the left side.
Release screws (1).
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove holder cover (3).





Release screws (1).
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 51 46 6AZ [1][2]Rear Shelf.
Remove speaker cover (3).
Disconnect associated plug connection.
Remove partition panel (4).





Installation:
Locking hooks (1) on partition panel (2) must not be bent.





Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 51 46 7AZ [1][2]Rear Shelf.
Remove clip (2).
Release screws (3) in area shown.
Tightening torque 51 46 7AZ [1][2]Rear Shelf.
Open lashing eye cover (4).





Release partition panel (1) at catches (2). Disconnect necessary plug connections.
Remove partition panel (1).
