51 71 387 Removing and installing/renewing rear water channel cover (rear lid) on left or right







Slide retaining spring (1) to end of gas pressure spring (2) and lever out gas pressure spring (2).
Release clips (5).
Pull off the rubber seal (6).
Feed out cable routing (3) and remove cover (4) to the rear.

IMPORTANT: If clip mountings are removed during further operations (e.g. painting), always replace these mounting to ensure watertightness.
