51 47 316 Removing and installing/replacing carpet for rear passenger compartment







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Clamp off battery lead from negative connection point
- Remove both front seats`
- Remove rear seat
- Remove door sill cover strip on left/right
- Remove side trim panel on left/right
- Remove centre console support part
- Remove ICM control unit







Release expanding rivets (1) and plastic nut (3).
Remove air duct cover (2).
Release screws (5).
Remove cover of bass speaker (4).







Lay back cable (1) and feed out carpet (2) towards rear/top.







Installation note:
Apertures (1) serve as alignment points when fitting carpet (2).
