Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

51 33 000 Removing and installing (replacing) power window regulator in left or right front door







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove door window glass







Lift cover (1) and slacken nut (2).

Installation note:
Nut is tightened during adjustment of side window.







Remove drive cable from clips (1).
Release nuts (2) and thread out front window lift rail (3).
Release nut (4) and thread out rear window lift rail (3).

Installation note:
Clip in drive cable correctly to clips (1).
Nut (4) is tightened during adjustment of cavity gap.







Replacement:
Swap over flat motor for power window regulator.
