51 16 365 Removing and installing/replacing glove box cover







When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove right glove box with housing







Spread U clamp (2) of damper (4) until swivel arm of the glove box cover (3) slips out.

NOTE: After turning by 90°, damper (4) of glove box housing (1) can be removed.







Release screws (3).
Tightening torque 51 16 15AZ.
Open glove box cover (1) if necessary, disengage from clips (2) and remove toward the front.
