SUBJECT
Radio and Air Conditioning Functions Inoperative When Vehicle is Moving

SITUATION
All audio and heating/air conditioning functions cannot be controlled when the vehicle is moving. After the vehicle is turned off and has entered sleep mode (after approximately 30 minutes), the system operates normally.

CAUSE
Software error in the audio and air conditioning control panel.

PROCEDURE

1. Perform a vehicle test using ISTA and diagnose any faults related to the audio and heating/air conditioning systems.

Note:
When the ISTA system message displays: Battery voltage only "XX.X V. Please connect charger. Note the displayed battery voltage reading in the repair order comments section

2. Program the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.47.5 or later.

The vehicle integration level will be updated to F001/F010-12-07-533 or higher.

Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
