51 12 050 Removing And Installing/Replacing Support For Rear Bumper Panel







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear bumper trim







Lever out expander rivet (1) on adapter (2) and cover (3).

NOTE:
Cover can vary.
The trailer tow hitch optional equipment is pictured.







Unclip adapter (1) on bumper panel (2) at marked points.







NOTE:
Operation is described on the left side.
Right side identical.

Unscrew nuts (1).
Tightening torque 51 12 1AZ. Slacken nut (2).
Remove support for rear bumper trim (3).







Replacement:
- Remove trailer tow hitch
