Terminal 15



Terminal 15

There are two lines for terminal 15 between the DDE control unit and CAS control unit:
- 15_WUP
This signal is the wake-up signal for the DDE control unit.
- 15_3
Via this signal, the CAS control unit can shut down the fuel injector activation of the DDE control unit in states where safety is critical.

Both lines are monitored by the DDE.

Fault recognition in engine control unit
The following faults are monitored in the engine control unit:
- The DDE monitors the signal transfer across the lines and the internal circuits in the DDE control unit and CAS control unit.
