51 24 146 Removing And Installing/Replacing Button For Rear Lid Actuation







Special tools required:
- 00 9 327







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove trim for rear lid







Press together retaining tabs (1) on button (2) from inside.
Simultaneously unclip button (2) from outside of tailgate (3) with special tool 00 9 327.

Installation note:
Retaining tabs (1) of button (2) must not be damaged or missing.







Version with reversing camera:
Unclip rear view camera (1) left and right and feed out of button holders (2).

Installation note:
Gasket (3) of reversing camera (1) must not be missing or damaged.







Disconnect plug (1) from microswitch and remove button (2).

Installation note:
Perform function check with tailgate open.
