Rear Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

51 34 191 Replacing Left Or Right Fixed Door Window In Rear Window Frame







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear door window glass







Open door and remove sealing cap on door window frame.
Loosen nut (1).
Tightening torque 51 35 3AZ.

IMPORTANT: Do not slacken screw (2) as this causes the setting for door windows to be changed.







Remove covers (1) and release screws underneath.
Tightening torque 51 35 2AZ.
Pull off cavity seal (2) towards top.
Feed out door windows (3) towards top (pay attention to possible damage to door).







Installation note:
Door windows (1) must lie correctly in cavity seal (2) (general view from outside).
Before tightening door windows, cavity seals (3 and 4) must be moved into correct position.
Check setting of door window glass, correct if necessary.
