Front Door Damage, Fit/Misalignment (Replace Hinge)

Models:
2002-2003 Buick Rendezvous
2001-2003 Pontiac Aztek

Condition

Some customers may comment that the wind caught their front door and the front edge of the door was damaged or the door is now misaligned.

Cause

The front door hinge may have been bent by the door when it was overextended by the wind.

Correction

Replace the upper door hinge. Refer to the Hinge Front Door Replace procedure in the Doors sub-section of the Service Manual (SI Document ID # 628667).
