Maintenance Indicator - A/T: Description and Operation

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION "CHANGE TRANS FLUID" MESSAGE
The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates the "change trans fluid" message when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) determines that the transmission oil should be changed. The PCM sends a message to the IPC requesting illumination. The select button will clear this message from the Driver Information Center (DIC) display.
