Traction Control Switch Replacement (Buick)

Removal Procedure

1. Important: The console shift lever bezel must be removed prior to removing the traction control switch.

Remove the shift lever bezel.





2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the switch.





3. Use a flat-bladed tool to release the ring tabs (1).





4. Remove the retaining ring from the switch.





5. Remove the switch (1) from the trim plate.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the switch (1) to the trim plate.





2. Install the retaining ring to the switch, ensuring the ring tabs are fully seated.





3. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the switch.
4. Install the shift lever bezel.
