DTC B1354
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The body control module (BCM) controls the following courtesy lamps when the door switch is ON and an door is opened:
- The instrument panel courtesy lamp, LH
- The instrument panel courtesy lamp, RH
- The inside rear view mirror lamps
- The cargo lamp
- The roof rail reading lamp, LH
- The roof rail reading lamp, RH
- The sunshade lighted vanity mirror lamps, LH
- The sunshade lighted vanity mirror lamps, LH
The BCM monitors all but the sunshade lighted vanity mirror lamps for a open in the ground circuit.

This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC B1354 Courtesy Lamps Control Circuit Open
CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
Voltage supplied to the module is in the normal operating range, approximately 10-16 volts.
CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
- The BCM detects an open in the controlled ground circuit of the courtesy lamps.
- The condition is present for more then 3 ms.
ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The BCM stores DTC B1354 in memory.
