Bellcrank Replacement - Endgate

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Endgate (Trim Panel Replacement - Endgate) .
2. Remove the endgate water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Endgate (Water Deflector Replacement - Endgate) .
3. Remove the endgate handle rod from the endgate bellcrank.
4. Remove the endgate latch rods from the endgate bellcrank.




5. Remove the bolts from the bellcrank to the endgate.




6. Remove the endgate bellcrank from the endgate.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the bellcrank to the endgate.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bolts to the bellcrank to the endgate.

Tighten the endgate bellcrank bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





3. Install the endgate latch rods to the bellcrank.
4. Install the endgate latch handle rod to the bellcrank.
5. Install the endgate water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Endgate (Water Deflector Replacement - Endgate) .
6. Install the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Endgate (Trim Panel Replacement - Endgate) .
